Microsoft Interested to Buy Winamp from AOL?

Yesterday’s official announcement appears as the owner of AOL Winamp which it will be shut down on December 20 next. But the plan could be canceled, because Microsoft reportedly have an interest to buy Winamp from AOL.

Quoted from Pocket-lint, Microsoft is reportedly in talks with AOL regarding this matter. But TechCrunch revealed that talks are not related to the purchase Winamp entering the final stages, especially related to the issue price to be paid by Microsoft.

This news also led to speculation about the resurrection Winamp before official funeral procession made. Along with the purchase of Winamp, Microsoft is also reportedly interested in acquiring Shoutcast, streaming service developed by Nullsoft and also currently owned by AOL.

There is no information on the reasons for Microsoft to purchase the Winamp. Microsoft could just use the feature in Winamp owned his own service like Xbox Music or develop it independently.

Leica X2 Gagosian Edition Officially Introduced, Only 100 Units Worldwide

From the legendary German camera manufacturer Leica has just released a new camera that is sold with a very limited amount. The camera is Lieca X2 Gagosian Edition which is the result of collaboration with Gagosian Gallery Leica. Camera is produced only 100 units.

Gagosian X2′s camera has a unique design, inspired by the expressionism style paintings with a body made of metal. This camera body is wrapped with a white leather covered by black paint expressionist style.

Leica X2 Gagosian has the same specs as the usual Leica X2. Among these is a 16.5MP CMOS sensor APS-C equipped with Elmarit 24mm f/2.8 ASPH lens. This camera has a focus ranging from 30cm to infinity. While the ISO sensitivity can be increased up to 12500.

Nokia Investors Approve Acquisition 7.2 Billion USD by Microsoft

ZTE will release Windows Phone Smartphones in 2014
